FAQ

1. ORDERING

All orders MUST BE PLACED ONLINE. Orders via email or phone call are not accepted. If you experience any difficulties during online ordering, please feel free to contact us via email (contact@lulus.com.sg). We will be glad to assist you through your online ordering.

Online orders must be made no later by 3pm, 4 days (inclusive of sat, sun & public holidays) in advance of your delivery date (delivery date not inclusive).

Please ensure correct entry of email address and mobile number to avoid delay in processing or non-processing of your order. If you did not receive any email(s) from us after placing your order, they might have gone to your spam folder, make a check and contact us at order@lulus.com.sg if otherwise.

 

2. DELIVERY DAYS

We are open everyday, you may arrange a delivery on any day, inclusive of public holidays. Delivery slots available from 9am - 3pm. FREE delivery slots are available for $180; delivery charges from $19 onwards apply for orders below $180. Click here to find out the available delivery slots.

 

3. DELIVERIES TO DIFFERENT ADDRESSES OR ON DIFFERENT DAYS

Combined orders for different delivery days are not accepted. Separate orders MUST be placed for each respective delivery day and delivery location, if you require delivery on different days or to different addresses.

 

4. MINIMUM ORDER

There is no minimum order amount required (no minimum required for order of party platters, e-gift cards or e-gift vouchers).

However for ordering of packages, a min of 15 boxes (for 6-pc packages) / min of 10 boxes (for 8/9-pc packages) in a single order is required. All orders come with complimentary message cards and paper bags for every box.

Dear Customers, in light of the current coronavirus situation, we are now lowering our min order to  just 5 boxes (instead of our usual 15 boxes (6-pc) & 10 boxes (8 & 9-pc) during this difficult time.

Together, we make small celebrations possible. Stay safe and healthy!

 

5. MAKING YOUR PAYMENT

Payment may be made via Credit Cards, Debit Cards (we accept all major credit cards from Visa & Mastercard) and PayNow. No additional credit card processing fees.

 

6. ANG KU KUEHS, ANG YEES & RED EGGS

There are several types of ang ku kueh in the market. Ang ku kueh (the tortoise shell shape) is used to symbolise baby girl while ang yee (pointed shape, as shown in our product photos) for baby boy. As such, we provide ang ku kueh for baby girls and ang yee for baby boys in our baby full month packages, in the traditionally preferred way.

Red eggs are dyed with halal-certified food ink and come with pink ribbon sticker for baby girls and blue ribbon sticker for baby boys.

Our ang ku kuehs are made of vegetarian oil, with no content of onions. They are not halal-certified by MUIS. We provide mung bean and peanut filling ang ku kuehs, so feel free to pick your choice while making your online order!

 

7. HALAL CERTIFIED PASTRIES

All our pastries are made with egg and do not contain meat, onion or animal oil. Our pastries are freshly prepared in our halal-certified kitchen. Our pastries are halal-certified by MUIS, however our kueh items are not halal-certified.

If you are looking for pastry set for your Muslim guests, please order our Halal Sets - Merry (6-pc package without kuehs) or Hearty (8-pc package without kuehs). Halal sticker will be affixed on the pastry box.

 

8. VEGETARIAN

Our ang ku kuehs and steam cakes are vegetarian items. They do not contain meat, onion or animal oil.

Our glutinous rice contains dried shrimps, therefore it is not suitable for Vegetarians.

All our pastries are made with egg and do not contain meat, onion or animal oil.

 

9. GST

Our packages are nett price and there's no GST.

Simply email to order@lulus.com.sg and we’ll be glad to attend to your queries during our office hours. Our office operates from Mondays – Fridays, 1am – 6pm; and closed on weekends and public holidays. All correspondences received after 5pm will be replied on the next working day.
